About Me

I’m Ann-Mari Patshijew, the founder of Ami Consult OÜ – though many know me simply as Ami, a nickname that has followed me throughout my life and business journey.

I’m a passionate entrepreneur, trainer, and consultant with over 30 years of experience across diverse industries and roles. From my early days in retail and healthcare to leading roles in direct marketing, cosmetics importation, training centers, and now sustainability consulting, I’ve built a career grounded in curiosity, growth, and connection.

Education & Expertise

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Economics (Financial Management) and am a certified Green Lean Specialist. In addition, I’ve completed multiple specialized qualifications in entrepreneurship and management, ensuring that I bring practical, up-to-date expertise to every client interaction.

Entrepreneurial Journey

For over 20 years, I co-owned and led Competition & Sales CS Oy, one of Finland’s leading cosmetics importers and training centers, educating thousands of beauty professionals and employing a dedicated team.

In 2015, I expanded my entrepreneurial path to Estonia, founding a wine import business, and later transitioned into consulting, supporting businesses remotely with sales processes, financial administration, and sustainability reporting.

Leadership & Governance Roles

I’ve always been deeply engaged in association work and governance, including:

• Chair of Pro Natural Cosmetics Association (10 years)

• Chair of Finnish Export Promoters

• Board member at Mercuria Business School, Vantaa Entrepreneurs, and the City of Vantaa Building Permit Division

• Member of an entrepreneurship delegation for a political party

• Participant in the Finnish Tax Authority's entrepreneurship development group

These roles have allowed me to influence entrepreneurial policies and development at both local and national levels.

Awards & Recognition

I’ve been honored with the Gold Medal of Merit for Entrepreneurship from the Finnish Entrepreneurs Association, recognizing over 20 years of contribution to the business community.
